Already in 1990 Colruyt proposed its Green Line programme for a better environment. This programme resulted in several concrete environmental initiatives.

Even today, Colruyt is constantly looking for new ways to contribute to a healthier environment. Recent examples include our solar panels on new stores, the fermentation of vegetables and garden waste and the Bike to Work programme.
