Mobility and transport are important themes for the Colruyt Group. With so many employees who set out every day to go to work or back home, it is logical that we reflect upon traffic-jams and environmental pollution. We try to do something about it with initiatives such as the carpool database, bicycle allowances, a scooter project, and the special 'Bike to work' programme.

In the field of transport and freight traffic, we take the environment and society into consideration as much as we can. Since 1998 all the Colruyt truck drivers sign their own transport charter. In it they commit themselves to courteous and safe traffic: it is the slogan you can read on each Colruyt truck.

Colruyt also seeks the safest trucks possible with light-reflecting safety marks for example, and blind spot cameras.
