Parkwind
Parkwind was founded in 2012 based on a belief that wind energy is the key to a sustainable future. Parkwind is committed to make offshore wind energy available and affordable to everyone by becoming the preferred partner green energy partner of communities, governments and suppliers.
Globally recognised Belgian expertise
Parkwind currently operates four wind farms that have a total production capacity of 771 MW. They are located approximately 38 km off the Belgian coast, in a 200 km² zone established to promote offshore wind energy development. In the first half of 2020, Parkwind’s fourth project Northwester 2 came online. The success and expertise gained in Belgium has allowed Parkwind to expand its reach internationally. Two additional projects in Germany and Ireland are currently being developed and expected to be completed in 2023. Parkwind is also actively looking for opportunities to increase its presence in Europe and Asia.

Beyond windfarms
Parkwind’s activities also include several R&D ventures in partnership with universities and public institutions. Ranging from material science innovations to multiple ventures in using hydrogen as energy storage and a mobility solution, Parkwind is dedicated to improving technologies to reduce infrastructure costs and increase the share of green energy for everyone.
