Retail represents 76,2% of the revenue of Colruyt Group and comprises all stores and webshops under its own management. They are Colruyt Lowest Prices, Collect&Go, OKay, Bio-Planet, Cru, Colruyt Prix Qualité (France), Dreamland (Belgium and France), Dreambaby and Collishop. The holdings in ZEB and the webshop MyUnderwear24 also form part of Retail. This financial year the revenue grew by 2,4% to EUR 7.233 million.
Wholesale and foodservice
The revenue of the wholesale and foodservice activities rose by 6,4% to EUR 1.669 million. Excluding the 13th month of the French foodservice activities, the revenue rose by 2,7%. Wholesale and foodservice account for 17,6% of the total revenue of Colruyt Group. Retail Partners Colruyt Group groups together all wholesale activities in Belgium. They are the stores of Spar Retail, Alvo and Mini Market and those of the independent retailers. In France Codifrance supplies affiliated stores of Coccinelle, Coccimarket and Panier Sympa, and also independent retailers. Foodservice comprises Solucious in Belgium, Pro à Pro in France and the export activity Colex.
In July 2016 Colruyt Group signed an agreement with Metro Group for the sale of Pro à Pro, in order to ensure the further growth of Pro à Pro in this way. The sale was finalised on 1 February 2017.
Revenue from other activities rose by 8,1% to EUR 591 million and represents 6,2% of the consolidated revenue. In addition to the DATS 24 filling stations in Belgium, the other activities consist of the printing & document manager Symeta, the energy producer and supplier Eoly, and the holdings in offshore wind farms off the Belgian coast.
The corporate activities are all support departments, units and services: Technics, Real Estate & Energy, Business Processes & Systems, Finance, People & Organization, Colruyt Group Academy, Corporate Marketing, Customer Communication & Experiences, In Contact and Collibri Foundation.
