Activities

We divide our operational activities into retail, wholesale, foodservice, other activities and corporate activities. Although we generate the majority of our revenue in Belgium, we also have activities in France and Luxembourg, and corporate services in India and Hong Kong.

Retail

This financial year, retail revenue grew to EUR 7.781 million. Retail represents 83% of Colruyt Group’s revenue and covers all stores and webshops under our own management: Colruyt Lowest Prices, Collect&Go, OKay, Bio-Planet, Cru, Colruyt Prix Qualité, Dreamland, Dreambaby and Collishop. Our export activity Colex, the production departments of Colruyt Group Fine Food and the participations in ZEB, Fiets!, Newpharma and MyUnderwear24 are also included in retail.

Wholesale and foodservice

Revenue from wholesale and foodservice activities rose to EUR 952 million. Wholesale and foodservice account for 10% of Colruyt Group’s total revenue. Retail Partners Colruyt Group comprises all wholesale activities in Belgium. These include deliveries to Spar, Alvo and Mini Market stores and smaller independent retailers. In France, Codifrance delivers to affiliated stores of Coccinelle, Coccimarket and Panier Sympa and other independent retailers. Foodservice comprises the activities of Solucious.

Other activities

Revenue from other activities rose to EUR 701 million, amounting to 7% of total revenue. Besides DATS 24 filling stations in Belgium, other activities comprise print and document manager Symeta, green energy producer and supplier Eoly and participations in offshore windfarms off the Belgian coast.

Corporate activities

Corporate activities comprise all corporate services: Technics, Real Estate & Energy, Business Processes & Systems, Finance, People & Organization, Colruyt Group Academy, Corporate Marketing, Customer Communication & Experiences and In Contact.
