Relocation of 350 meters

The current store at August Demaeghtlaan 279 needed a thorough overhaul. Dreambaby decided to move to a larger location, about 350 meters away, on Edingensesteenweg. The building had previously been home to a shoe shop, Scapino and then a mattress shop. "For us, it was important to stay in the centre of Halle, the home bastion of Colruyt Group. When the building became available, we seized the opportunity with both hands," says Bruno Van Eeckhoudt, director of Dreambaby. Between 16 March and the end of June, DreamLand will open a pop-up shop in the old store, offering a wide range of garden and terrace items.

The new store has a floor area of 700 m², with 20 parking spaces in front of the shop, and offers customers all the basic items of equipment and gadgets for their a wide range of baby equipment, ranging from clothing, baby feeding products, buggies, car seats to nursery furniture. The decor in the new store will be warm and welcoming, with a particular focus on creating a pleasant atmosphere and experience, with low-profile shelves that create an attractively spacious feel for customers.

Personal guidance by baby specialists

The entire team of eight baby specialists will transfer to the new location. Two new employees will also join the team. “We have a larger retail area and we expect our customers to find their way to the new store soon. That’s why we needed some reinforcement", says team leader Ineke Daems. Personal guidance is one of Dreambaby's characteristic hallmarks. Bruno Van Eeckhoudt: “At Dreambaby, we want to be there to support parents-to-be and new parents, as well as grandparents, at a major turning point in life: the birth of a baby. We want to inspire and support them and provide expert advice; we can achieve this by expanding and upgrading our outlets.”
