Colruyt Vosselaar reopens with an enlarged fresh market and frozen products department
On Wednesday 21 April, the renovated Colruyt Lowest Prices store in Vosselaar will reopen its doors. The store has had a complete makeover and the fresh market and frozen products department have been enlarged, enabling the store to offer a wider product range to the customers. The Collect&Go collection point has been enlarged so as to be able to serve even more customers. Three new co-workers have been hired.

Wider choice of products
The Colruyt store in Vosselaar has been completely refurbished and the fresh market and frozen food department have been enlarged in the process. Store manager Marc Boons: "This enables us to provide an even wider range of products of both national and private labels. Customers can rely on our self-service butcher's department for fresh meat. They can see the butchers at work in the open workshop and talk to them directly if they have questions or special orders."
Finding a parking spot is easy in the spacious car park, which is a fifth larger than before. The bicycle shed offers space for extra large bicycles, such as cargo bikes.
Collect&Go:we do your shopping for you
The Collect&Go collection point has been moved and enlarged, allowing for more customers to be served. The entrance is now covered, so customers can queue comfortably. Collect&Go is Colruyt Group's online shopping service. Customers send their shopping lists to collectandgo.be or through the app and co-workers have their products ready at the collection point by the day and time of their choice.
Sustainable choices
The renewed Colruyt in Vosselaar contributes to sustainable development. The store generates energy from solar panels and additional renewable energy sources. Rainwater is used to clean and to flush the toilets. Residual heat released from the cooling units and ventilation system is covered. Thanks to efficient insulation, ventilation, refrigeration and heating, the store emits 90% fewer greenhouse gases and is able to reduce its CO2 impact.

All team members of Colruyt Vosselaar have returned to their familiar store. In addition, three new co-workers have been hired for the enlarged Collect&Go collection point.
Because of corona measures, there will not be an opening evening. Store manager Marc Boons: "Come and discover the renovated Colruyt in Vosselaar and we will have a small welcome gift in store for you. My team and I are looking forward to welcoming everyone in safe conditions. We are therefore asking our customers to shop alone and to observe all government rules."
