Cosy neighbourhood supermarket

OKay Erpe-Mere has been a trusted name for years because of its location along Oudenaardsesteenweg, its wide range of products and its personal service. Since its facelift, the supermarket has become one of the latest generation OKay stores. Customers at Erpe-Mere thus enjoy a more pleasant shopping experience and can shop even easier now.

Refurbished freshmart and see-through freezers

When you enter the renovated store, the supply of fresh products immediately catches your eye. "In our renovated freshmart, our fruit and vegetables are showcased even more attractively," says Marnik De Wolf. The frozen products department looks much fresher too. "All our freezers are energy-efficient models with glass covers. Customers can thus see what is in them at a glance and find their favourite products much faster."

Brand-new, handy bread unit

Every morning, before the doors open, fresh bread is delivered at OKay Erpe-Mere. Behind the scenes, co-workers bake quality rolls and buns. From now on, all these delicious products are presented in a brand-new bread rack. Marnik De Wolf: "Our new bread corner is ergonomic and much handier than before."

Top team from the region

The greatest asset of OKay Erpe-Mere is its wonderful team of store co-workers. "I can count on a close-knit team of ten co-workers every day," says store manager Marnik De Wolf. "A super team. All of them living in the area and having much experience. Some of our colleagues have been working here for 15 years!"

Easy to reach by car and bicycle

OKay Erpe-Mere is located along Oudenaardsesteenweg near the E40 exit and at walking distance from the town centre. The car park has room for 52 cars. It also has a safe bicycle shed for 12 bicycles.

Air-purifying wall paint

Like the other Colruyt Group store formats, OKay attaches great importance to building sustainably and with a minimum ecological footprint. It is good to know that the renovated Erpe-Mere has been treated with sustainable paint inside and out.

The store's outside was painted with high-tech paint that converts hazardous substances such as nitrogen dioxides and ozone into nitrate and oxygen under the influence of sunlight. The rain dissolves and washes away the nitrates. OKay Erpe-Mere thus contributes to less pollution and purer air.
