Microbiological checks by the Colruyt laboratory showed the presence of listeria monocytogenes in the Boni Selection smoked salmon salad.Possible symptoms of infection by listeria are nausea and vomiting, stomach cramps, diarrhoea or constipation, headache and persisting fever (flu feeling). These symptoms can lead to listeriosis, a serious illness with an incubation period up to 8 weeks. Pregnant women, people with reduced immunity and elderly people must be extra attentive for these symptoms.If you have eaten this product and show these symptoms, consult your family doctor and mention that you have eaten this product.Colruyt has decided to take the Boni Selection North smoked salmon salad from the shelves.
