Colruyt and OKay recall reblochon de Savoie cheese

During an internal inspection at producer Pochat & Fils, the presence of salmonella was found in the reblochon de Savoie cheese. For this reason, Colruyt and OKay decided to remove this product from the shelves in consultation with the FASFC (Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain).
Colruyt and OKay ask their customers not to consume this product and to bring it back to the store. The product will be refunded. Meanwhile, the product has been removed from the shelves in all Colruyt and OKay stores.
Possible symptoms of Salmonella infection
Possible symptoms of Salmonella infection are fever, stomach cramps and diarrhoea. These symptoms usually occur within 6 to 72 hours after the contamination.
The symptoms usually last 4 to 7 days and most people recover without specific treatment. Young children, pregnant women, people with decreased immunity and elderly people are risk groups. For them, the symptoms may be more serious and result in hospitalisation.
People who have eaten the reblochon cheese and show these symptoms should consult their family doctor.
