Colruyt Belgium, Colruyt Luxemburg and Collect&Go recall Ardennes pork tenderloin

Microbiological checks by the Colruyt Group laboratory have demonstrated the presence of Salmonella in the product Ardennes pork tenderloin. In consultation with the FASFC (Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain) Colruyt Belgium, Colruyt Luxemburg and Collect & Go have decided to remove this product from the shelves.
Colruyt Belgium, Colruyt Luxemburg and Collect&Go are asking their customers not to consume this product and to bring it back to the store. The product will then be refunded. Meanwhile, the product has been removed from the shelves in all the stores.
Possible symptoms of Salmonella infection
Possible symptoms of Salmonella infection are fever, stomach cramps and diarrhoea. These symptoms usually occur within 12 to 48 hours after the infection.
The symptoms usually last 4 to 7 days and most people recover without specific treatment. Young children, pregnant women, people with decreased immunity and elderly people are risk groups. For them, the symptoms may be more serious and result in hospitalisation.
