From sales over IT to engineering: in our group, we have dozens of specialities and hundreds of expertises. For (and with) our co-workers, we elaborate suitable training and learning courses in a stimulating and challenging learning environment. We have customised tracks for (store) managers and work placements for starters. We have our own Technical School and just started a brand-new Marketing Academy. In the different specialities, experienced experts share their knowledge and skills and that is how we can continue to grow together.

From stock management over store organisation to coaching your team members and your own personal growth: you get a taste of practice and learn from colleagues. - Just graduated? We offer you the opportunity to discover your professional interests and to develop your strengths during a work placement (IT, sales, logistics, etc.). Surrounded by enthusiastic colleagues, you are assisted step by step to really make a difference. You receive space to take initiative and coaching when you need it ... The ideal start!
- You already work at Colruyt Group and you want to retrain to be a technician? That's possible. In our own Technical School, experienced colleagues train interested co-workers for three months in basic techniques. They afterwards receive a certificate and are ready for the next step in their career.
Colruyt Group Academy keeps a finger on the pulse with a topical and relevant training offer. Our co-workers choose training courses depending on their personal learning and development targets. These fit in with the desired competences for a specific job and with their own talents, motivation and wishes.

New learning solutions
Can virtual reality, business games or augmented reality create new learning opportunities? "At Colruyt Group we are busy experimenting with new digital learning formats", Jan Rypers, in charge of Learning Solutions, says. "The key question here is: what do our co-workers need at a certain moment and what format can we offer to meet that need in the best possible way? In other words, we complement more traditional learning resources such as training, e-learning or coaching, with digital tools such as mobile applications or virtual tours."
During these training and educational tracks, in cooperation with professional organisations, we focus on more than learning knowledge and skills. By means of coaching and exchanging, we also want to boost these young people's self-confidence and stimulate their entrepreneurship. They thus grow as people and as professionals and increase their chances of a successful future.
