Under the Bel’Mer name, we bring together the products from our sea farm off the coast of Nieuwpoort. Bel’Mer stands for the finest from the wild North Sea: pure products that grow with minimal human intervention.

Farming with respect for marine life

At our sea farm, we are building expertise in sustainable food production at sea. We take biodiversity into account: our farming structures provide shelter for fish and other animals, while the seabed remains undisturbed. Our mussels also feed on what the North Sea naturally provides. At the same time, we deliberately keep as many steps in the supply chain as local as possible.
