Promoting a sustainable savings programme

With our sustainable savings programme, we actively encourage customers to make conscious choices. When purchasing products with Green score A+ or A, they save points in the Xtra app that they can then use for a good cause, or a free product or webinar.

Why do we encourage customers to choose products with Green score A+, A or B?

Products with Green score A+ or A have a smaller ecological footprint. By rewarding customers when they make those purchases, we are encouraging them to make more sustainable choices and thereby reduce their environmental impact.

In addition, customers can use the points they earn to support initiatives that contribute to a more sustainable world. In this way, together – as customers, retailers and suppliers – we can strengthen our positive impact.

How do we encourage customers to consume more consciously?

For every purchase of a product with a Green score of A+ or A, customers of Bio-Planet, Collect&Go, Colruyt, Okay and Spar earn one point in the Xtra app. Once they reach 100 points, they can support a charity from our Colruyt Group Foundation, receive a free product or attend a Colruyt Group Academy webinar.

The specific projects, products and webinars for which customers can use points vary from time to time and can be found in the Xtra app.
