Domaine Lez-Envies
Domaine Lez-Envies is Colruyt Group’s Belgian wine estate in Frasnes-lez-Anvaing. Here, we produce local wines with a distinctive character and respect for nature.
Belgian wine from vine to bottle
The story of our wine begins on the rolling hillsides of Pays des Collines, where the grapes grow in Belgian soil. We deliberately keep the supply chain short and manage every step ourselves: from selecting the grape varieties and harvesting them by hand to winemaking, bottling and distribution. This allows us to develop local expertise, keep knowledge and added value in Belgium, and know exactly what journey each grape has made.
On the way to organic wine
Domaine Lez-Envies is converting to organic winegrowing. We work with respect for the soil and the biodiversity across the estate.
That is why we:
- choose disease-resistant grape varieties that thrive in the Belgian climate;
- do not use herbicides, insecticides or synthetic crop protection products;
- process the grapes as close to the vineyard as possible.
Fresh Belgian wine with a character of its own
Our grapes grow in a cooler and wetter climate than those in many traditional wine regions. They ripen gradually, producing wines with fresh acidity, refined aromas and a pure character.
