Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)

At Colruyt Group, we have been committed to reducing our impact on climate change for years already. Through the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), we have joined a global network of companies actively committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. In April 2023, the SBTi formally validated our emission reduction targets. In this way, we have demonstrated that we are taking our responsibility seriously and that we are testing our climate ambitions against the measures science considers necessary to limit global warming. The SBTi offers us a clear and internationally recognised framework, enabling us to contribute step by step to a future-proof planet and economy. Because we want to set the bar high for ourselves and contribute to the necessary transition to a low-carbon society.
