Sustainability Initiative Fruit and Vegetables (SIFAV)

Since 2021 Colruyt Group has been a member of SIFAV, an initiative that strives for sustainable water use in the supply chain for fresh fruit and vegetables. In addition, we are taking steps in our due diligence reporting. We work with Agriplace to assess the social and environmental risks in our chain. This tool makes our supply chain transparent and links it to a central risk database. And together with Delhaize and the Belgian divisions of Aldi, Lidl and Jumbo, we have signed a joint commitment to guarantee the workers on banana plantations a living wage by 2027 at the latest.
