Through cooking workshops, Tandemmm gives people living in poverty the tools to cook simple, healthy and tasty meals, tailored to their daily reality.

4. Dreamkitchen: sharing healthy meals

At the Dreamkitchen in Kuregem, volunteers and local residents cook healthy vegetarian meals using surplus ingredients, which are shared for a voluntary contribution.

5. Solidarcité: engaged young people

Solidarcité offers young people between the ages of 16 and 25 a “citizen year”: a year to breathe, think about the future and actively engage in projects that matter.

Youthpreneurs helps young women from diverse backgrounds realise their entrepreneurial dreams and develop their talents through inspiring coaching.

9. Sauvons Bambi: protecting wild animals

Sauvons Bambi rescues animals that could be injured or killed by agricultural machinery during mowing. In 2024, 845 fawns were saved in Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

10. Boerennatuur: improving biodiversity

Boerennatuur supports Belgian farmers on their journey towards sustainable and profitable agriculture. It does so by encouraging farming practices that enhance biodiversity and respect the environment.

11. Foodsavers: fighting food waste

Foodsavers saves valuable food from the waste bin and gives fruits and vegetables to those who truly need it. How? Efficient systems in Flemish Brabant and West Flanders, working together with local partners.

12. Nojavel!: healthy food packages

Nojavel! recycles 250 tonnes of unsold organic products each year and distributes them to those who need them most. Each month, Nojavel! affords more than 1,000 households access to healthy food packages.

13. Boerennatuur: a safe haven for partridges

The continued existence of the partridge is threatened. That is why Boerennatuur Flanders works together with farmers to provide food, nesting sites and shelter for these countryside birds.

14. Regenacterre: healthier agricultural soil

Regenacterre supports farmers in their pursuit of greater biodiversity through regenerative farming. Analysing soil and supporting farmers with advice spreads knowledge about this topic and helps to create healthier soil.

15. GoodPlanet: food forests at schools

GoodPlanet sends Belgian schools everything they need to plant and maintain food forests. Children learn how to grow their own food and about the importance of healthy soil, biodiversity, and nutritious food.

16. Enchanté: nutritious school lunch for teenagers

Providing young people with a nutritious school lunch is the focus of Enchanté. The non-profit creates networks of schools, individuals and companies to help ensure that as many teenagers as possible can enjoy a nutritious school lunch.

The most unique resident of the Saint-Michelbos is the emblematic black stork. By making sure the woods are a suitable home for the bird, Nassonia also helps a lot of other species of animals.

BeeOdiversity monitors the presence and quality of plant species in Belgium and plants flower meadows and hedges in places in need of greater biodiversity.

Children learn how to best care for the Tiny Forest next to their schools. As young forest managers, they take responsibility for simple maintenance tasks.

Students set out on an investigation in the heart-shaped flower meadow in their neighbourhood and learn how to care for it.
